The Mini and the Lux are smaller Mazzer grinders, with the Luigi in the same family. Each has its own manual, so the model on the data plate matters, because burrs, doser parts and controls differ from the larger machines.
A small grinder is often used by one person in a small cafe, and when it fails, the whole drink menu stops. We start with power and the hopper, then the doser and the dose, then the grind setting and the burrs. Fines and oils from the coffee build up in the doser, so a clean often brings a grinder back.
