Repairs this series usually needs
- Washer that fills slowly or never fills
- Water that will not drain
- Lid switch that stops the start
- Coin drop that rejects coins
- Motor that hums without turning
HWNN is the Huebsch top-load Quantum group: 25 numbers, from HWNNE2AP113CW01 to the later HWNNY versions. The cycle is run by a front-end control and an output board, and the data plate tells you which version of each your washer has.
We work through a top-loader in a set order. A fill complaint starts at the valves and the hose screens, a drain complaint at the pump and the standpipe. When the tub stays put, we test the lid switch, then the motor and its wiring. A coin drop that does not accept coins gets its own test.
These washers are common coin shops and apartment buildings, and many are no longer new. We repair them, give the estimate in writing, and tell you if a repair would cost more than it returns.

They are part of the model number printed on the washer. We use the whole number to identify the control and the parts for your washer.
My washer hums but does not agitate. What is wrong?
The lid switch is the first stop, then the motor and its wiring, then the control output. Knowing the model number lets us bring the right parts.
Will you repair an older top-load washer?
Yes. Older HWNN washers are common, and their parts are simple. We compare the cost of the repair with the value of the washer before ordering anything, so the decision stays with you.
