Repairs this series usually needs
- Fill error when the water level is not reached
- Door lock error at start or end of cycle
- Unbalance error on the spin
- Drain alarm with water left
- Motor control error that stops the drum
Five prefixes make this group of 28: HCB, HCD, HCH, HCL and HCZ, as in HCH030GNF and HCL060GNF. They are CHM495R washer-extractors with a front-end control and a motor drive, and the digits after the letters give the capacity in pounds.
Each error tells us where to look. A fill error means the water level was not reached in the time allowed, so we check the supply and the valves. A drain alarm means the water did not leave, so we check the pump and the drain valve. The control reports a door error if the door does not lock, and we then test the lock and the latch.
We repair these washers laundries and apartment buildings, older ones included. Book by calling us or using the online form, and we confirm the arrival window with you. Our work is covered for 30 days.

The three digits give the capacity in pounds, so it is a 60 lb washer-extractor. The complete number on the plate is what we use for parts.
What does a drain alarm mean?
The water did not leave the machine within the allowed time. We check the drain pump, the drain valve and the plumbing first, then the level sensing, so parts are replaced only when the tests call for it.
Do you work on older HCZ washers?
Yes. We service older machines still in use and confirm parts for your model number before the visit. HCZ numbers are among the smaller groups, so a clear photo of the plate helps when you call.
