On an HCU washer we begin with the error on the display. Fill and drain alarms send us to water supply, valves, pump and drain path. A door error sends us to the lock. Drive errors, from Ed01 to Ed11, send us to the motor drive and its wiring. Only after that do we consider the control.

What are Ed01 to Ed11 on the display?
They are drive errors reported by the washer control. We test the motor, its wiring and the drive in order before replacing a part, so the repair fits the real cause and not just the message on the display.
