Repairs this series usually needs
- Door or latch error that stops the formula
- Too long to fill from screens or low pressure
- Too long to drain
- Inverter error that stops the machine
- Vibration switch trip
These 20 Milnor numbers, from 30015T5J to 48040F7J and MWR18J4, are washer-extractors with the E-P Plus microprocessor control. The letters in the number, such as H, V, X or MWR, separate the versions, so the data plate is the way to tell which one you own.
We read the message on the E-P Plus first. A door or latch message sends us to the latch and its sensing. Too long to fill sends us to the inlet screens and the water pressure, and too long to drain to the drain valve. When the vibration switch trips, the machine runs its recovery sequence, so we check the load, the mounting and the switch. A temperature probe reading out of range gets tested at the probe.
These are heavy-duty machines, many of them older and still in service. We repair them, show the estimate in writing first, and are honest when a repair does not pay.

What do the letters H, V and X in the model number mean?
They separate the versions of the machine. The data plate carries the complete number, and we match the control and the parts to it before we visit.
What happens when the vibration switch trips?
The machine runs a recovery sequence and may stop. We check the load, the mounting and the switch to find why it tripped, since a trip from an unbalanced load is different from a switch that is simply worn.
Do you repair older E-P Plus machines?
Yes. We service these washer-extractors, older ones included, and read the message on the E-P Plus control first. That tells us whether to start at the door, the water supply or the drive.
