A startup check confirms that a new or moved machine is ready for its first load. Power, water, drain, clearance and level all have to be right, and we verify each one and test the equipment, so a startup problem shows up before it interrupts your day.
What we check and what we do not do
We look at the supply voltage and plug type against the data plate, the water inlet and pressure, the drain path, the space around the machine for airflow, and whether the unit sits level. Then we run it through a normal cycle and watch how it behaves. A machine that was moved may also have shifted in transit, so we look for loose panels, a bumped line or a door that no longer seals.
We do not install gas lines, water connections or new circuits. A licensed plumber handles new gas lines and connections, and an electrician handles circuits, outlets and tripping breakers. We confirm that the equipment itself operates and tell you what needs attention from those trades.
When to book it
Book a check when you buy a used or new machine, after a kitchen or laundry remodel, when you move equipment to a new location, or after the unit sat unused for a long time. It is far easier to fix a leveling or airflow problem on day one than after a month of use.
What to have ready and what the price depends on
Keep the data plate details and any installation paperwork nearby when you book. Tell us who did the hookups and when, and have a person on site who knows where the shutoffs and the breaker panel are. Call us or use the online form, and we confirm a three-hour arrival window then. Any repair is priced in writing first, and our work carries a 30-day workmanship warranty.
A startup check is priced by the number and type of machines, how far apart they are and how much testing each needs. A single reach-in is a short visit, while a full line of cooking and refrigeration equipment takes more time. If we find a repair, the price is written down and approved by you before any part is ordered.
We confirm the equipment operates correctly at the time of our visit, and our repair work carries the 30-day warranty.
