Lincoln Aperion 24 Oven Blower OV: 0x06 High Line Voltage
Upper Blower OV: 0x06 or Lower Blower OV: 0x06 means the blower drive sees line voltage above 283 VAC. Ensure the input voltage is within specifications and verify the 115 VAC jumper is not placed in the drive. The alarm recovers automatically below 265 VAC.
Medium: the drive stops while the voltage is too high.

What does Lincoln Upper/Lower Blower OV: 0x06 mean?
The blower drive watches its supply from the high side as well. If the line voltage goes above 283 VAC, the drive reports overvoltage, and the screen shows "Upper Blower OV: 0x06" or "Lower Blower OV: 0x06". The drive LED blinks red and yellow at 1 second on and off. The manual lists two causes: line voltage greater than 283 VAC, and a 115 VAC jumper installed in the drive. The jumper is meant for lower-voltage supplies, so on a 208-240 V oven it must not be in place. The alarm recovers automatically once the voltage falls below 265 VAC. The remedy is to ensure the input voltage is within specifications and to verify the 115 VAC jumper is NOT placed in the drive. An oven that has had its drive replaced is the place to check the jumper first, since a spare may arrive with it fitted.

Possible causes
Listed in Lincoln's documentation
- Line voltage greater than 283 VAC
- 115 VAC jumper installed in the drive
Other likely causes — what usually sits behind Upper/Lower Blower OV: 0x06 on this control. A technician confirms which one it is before any part is replaced.
- A drive replaced recently with the 115 VAC jumper left in it
- A supply transformer tap set too high at the building
Safe checks before calling for service
- Note whether the alarm appeared right after service or a drive replacement.
- Do not open the electrical compartment.
- Turn the oven off and on once, after waiting 30 seconds.
- Tell the technician the building voltage if you know it.
How a technician diagnoses Upper/Lower Blower OV: 0x06
- Read the alarm and the drive LED pattern.
- Measure line voltage at the oven's supply terminals.
- Check the drive for the 115 VAC jumper and remove it if it is fitted on a higher-voltage supply.
- Compare the supply with the oven's nameplate.
- Replace the drive only if the voltage and jumper are correct.
- The jumper sits inside the drive on a live high-voltage circuit.
- Over-voltage can damage the drive and motor.
- A supply voltage problem must be fixed by the building's electrician.
How Upper/Lower Blower OV: 0x06 differs from similar codes
OV 0x06 is high line voltage and can also come from a wrong jumper; UV 0x04 is low line voltage.

What is the 115 VAC jumper?
A setting in the drive meant for lower-voltage supplies; it should not be in place on this oven.
Will OV clear itself?
Yes, once voltage drops below 265 VAC.
Is OV the building's wiring?
It can be, or the jumper.
