We repair Marvel undercounter refrigerators, beverage centers and wine cellars in Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, New York and San Diego, along with MicroSentry II scientific models. We begin with the alarm on the control and the grille.

Marvel Models and Control Messages
Marvel makes compact refrigeration for bars, kitchens and labs. We service the Professional and Professional Select undercounter refrigerators, beverage centers and wine cellars, such as the MRWC224-IG31A, MLNP115-SS01B and MLBV024, and the MP15 ice makers. We also work on the MicroSentry II scientific refrigerators MS15RA, MS24RA and SA24RA, with their external temperature display and an alarm light.
The control shows short messages. E1 is a temperature sensor alarm, do means the door has been open more than five minutes, hi and Lo are high and low temperature alarms, and any key press mutes the audible alarm. Some units keep an error log from E0 to E9. After a fresh start, a scientific model needs 24 hours to reach its 2 to 8 degrees C range, so we do not judge it sooner.
First Checks on a Warm Unit
Marvel’s own guide lists the causes of a warm interior: the set temperature, room temperature, direct sunlight or a heat source, frequent door openings, long light time, and an obstructed grille or condenser. We check those, then test the sensor, fan, door seal and sealed system. A bar or sunroom that gets hot afternoon light is a typical case.
The MRWC224 uses R-600a, a flammable refrigerant, so we handle it with care. We repair older Marvel units when it makes sense and tell you plainly when it does not. The price comes in writing before work, and workmanship is warranted for 30 days.

Marvel lines and model numbers we service
Current and older lines. Find the number on the data plate and open its series for the usual repairs.
What does E1 mean on my Marvel?
E1 is a temperature sensor alarm. The control has detected a problem with the sensor reading, so the cabinet may not hold temperature. We test the sensor and its connection.
Why is my Marvel showing do?
The do message is the door ajar alarm. The door has been open more than five minutes, or the gasket is not sealing. Close the door fully and call us if it keeps returning.
How long should a new Marvel take to get cold?
A scientific MicroSentry II model needs about 24 hours to reach its set range. Allow that time before judging it, and call us if it is still warm afterward.
