Continental Girbau Inteli Washer Error Code 25: Slow Water Fill
Code 25 means the bath is filling slowly, so the water supply is not delivering as expected. Make sure the supply valves are fully open, then restart. If code 25 returns, a technician checks the inlet filter, water pressure, fill valve coils and the pressure switch.
Medium: the cycle stops at the fill, and the cause is often a quick supply or filter fix.

What does Continental Girbau error code 25 mean?
During the fill step the control opens the fill valves and expects the level to climb at a steady rate, measured by a pressure switch that is connected to the tub through an air dome and a tube. If the level rises too slowly, the control stops and shows 25 on the display. The sheet describes it as a slow bath fill, while an older manual, Cod. 344739en, words it as an irregularity in water filling. The manual's checks cover the supply and the sensing: the supply valve open, the conical filter clean, adequate pressure, Test Mode on the valves, the drain and the pressure switch, 12 VDC on the fill valve coils, and the air dome and tube clear. The cause is left to the checks, since none is named. A slow fill that comes and goes with the time of day suggests the building pressure, while one that is always slow points to a screen or a valve.
Affected models and control systems
Continental Girbau E-Series washer-extractors with Inteli control, sheet names RMG055 and smaller and EH060 and larger. Washers with Logi, LogiPro or Vended control use ALn alarms instead.
Code numbers and their meaning can change between control generations. We match the full model and control before acting on a code.
What you may notice
- Code 25 on the display
- Tub filling slowly or in spurts
- Cycle stops at the fill step
Possible causes
Likely causes — what usually sits behind error code 25 on this control. A technician confirms which one it is before any part is replaced.
- Supply pressure dropping when other machines in the laundry fill at once
- Partly closed hot or cold valve behind the washer
- Fill valve coil giving weak output
Safe checks before calling for service
- Check that both supply valves behind the washer are fully open.
- Press stop and restart the program, listening for water entering.
- Look for a kinked or crushed hose without moving the machine.
- Note whether code 25 appears when other washers are filling at the same time.
How a technician diagnoses error code 25
- Confirm the supply valves are open and measure inlet pressure.
- Clean the conical filters at the inlet.
- Run Test Mode on the valves, the drain and the pressure switch.
- Check for 12 VDC on the fill valve coils.
- Check the air dome and tube, then replace the valve or switch that fails.
- Coil voltage checks are taken on the live control wiring.
- Inlet connections hold line pressure and can spray water onto electrical parts.
- A pressure switch or dome problem needs testing to separate it from a supply problem.
How error code 25 differs from similar codes
Code 25 is a slow fill. Code 21 is excess water and code 22 is a level reading problem. ALn / A is the Logi-style fill alarm.

Is it always the water supply?
No. A weak coil, a clogged screen or a blocked dome can all slow the fill.
Will it clear itself?
If low pressure at a busy time was the cause, a later restart may work.
Is it the same as ALn / A?
They describe a similar event but on different controls.
