What does Continental Girbau error code Err / 000 mean?
On Logi and LogiPro controls, the microprocessor learns which washer model it is in by reading jumpers on its board. If the jumper setting does not match the model the control is told it has, the control displays Err / 000, an identification alarm. The manual's action is to check the jumper at X18 and X19 on top of the microprocessor board. The table gives no cause list, so the checks do the narrowing. This alarm is most often seen after a board has been replaced, because a new board comes with its jumpers set for a different model or for none. It can also follow a rearrangement of the jumpers during service. Because the jumper decides the drive and program settings the control uses, running a washer with the wrong jumper could give it the wrong speed or timing limits. The fix is a quick check once the control box is open.
