The SPE is the Beverage-Air sandwich and salad prep table, and the SPED has drawers. Numbers such as SPE27HC, SPE32HC and SPE36HC show the width, from 27 to 72 inches. Seventeen numbers are listed.
A prep table cools its pans with cold air and holds the cabinet below. Pans run warm when the lid does not close, the condenser is dusty or a fan is weak. We check the lid and gasket first, then the condenser and fans. On the Danfoss control a Hi alarm during service often clears as the table recovers, and if it does not, we investigate.
Tell us the width and the plate number and we bring the right gaskets. After the repair we recheck the rail temperature with a thermometer in a pan.

Why are my pans warm on a busy shift?
The lid opens often and warm food goes in. A clean condenser and a sound lid help the table recover. A quick wipe of the lid seal helps it hold.
What is a SPED?
It is the version with drawers under the rail. The gaskets and slides differ from the door version. Drawers also need runners that move smoothly.
Is the drain easy to clear?
A blocked drain can be cleared with care. We do it as part of a visit and check the pan. The drain should slope away from the pans.
