Repairs this series usually needs
- Coins that are not accepted or counted
- Door that will not lock or will not open at the end
- No water or a slow fill
- Slow drain
- Cylinder that does not turn on a drive error
The Dexter T-series covers eight washers from the T-300 to the T-1450. A T-350 holds 20 pounds, a T-450 holds 30, a T-650 holds 40, a T-950 holds 60 and a T-1450 holds 90. They are hardmount front-loaders with a VFD drive and a C-Series main board, and newer ones use DexterLive.
Calls on these washers start with the coin acceptor, the door closed switch or a blown fuse. After that, a door that will not lock or release when the cycle finishes sends us to the lock, the thermoactuators and the door solenoid. No water or a slow fill points to the supply and valves, and slow drain to the pump. A cylinder that stays still sends us to the drive. After power is off, the washer needs a minute before it works properly again.
We repair Dexter washers in laundromats, older ones too. We put the cost on paper before we begin, and our work carries a 30-day warranty.

Why will my Dexter washer not accept coins?
A coin acceptor, the door closed switch or a fuse could be responsible. We test them one by one, then the control, because a blown fuse and a dirty acceptor look identical from the front of the machine.
Why will the door not release after the cycle?
The door lock may be held by a thermoactuator or the door solenoid. We check those parts and the wiring behind them before touching the control, and we test the release several times to be sure it is reliable.
Do you repair the larger T-950 and T-1450 washers?
Yes. We service the whole T-series range, including the 60 and 90 lb machines. The T-1200 and T-1450 use a larger fuse than the smaller models, so we check that the right one is fitted before we test the drive.
