The Series Two heaters are Eemax’s single-phase tankless electric models, from 15 to 23 kW on 240, 208 or 277 volts. They handle 0.7 to 5 gallons a minute at 60 to 180F. The S in a model such as the EX144T2-S marks a sanitation booster, and SP models have top connections while EX models have bottom connections.
When a Series Two gives weak hot water, we check the thermal cut-out, the contactors and the elements, then the flow against the rating. Flow above the rating stops a sanitation model from reaching 180F. Scale in water cuts output.
