The CBS-2130 series is Fetco’s Extractor Touch Screen batch brewer in airpot sizes. Look for CBS-2131XTS or CBS-2132XTS on the data plate. These brewers use numbered error codes on the touch screen and a few plain messages, such as INSERT BREW BASKET.
On this series the initial fill allows 11 minutes before code 100 shows, so a code 100 means the supply flow is truly low. We check the shutoff, the filter and the inlet valve first.
When a message says to seat the basket and it is seated, the detection switch is next. We repair these brewers and tell you plainly when a repair is not worth it. Write down the code and the model before you call, and we will tell you which owner steps to try first.

What does code 100 mean on a 2130 series brewer?
The first fill after power-up took more than 11 minutes because water supply flow was too low. We check the shutoff, the filter and the inlet valve.
Why does it say INSERT BREW BASKET?
The brew basket is a safety item. The brewer will not start unless the basket is seated in its rails. Clean the rails and seat it fully, and call us if the message stays.
