Find yours on the data plate. Letters after the base number usually mark the voltage, finish or door and do not change the repair.

  • LXeC
  • LXeH
  • LXePR
  • LXeR

Repairs this series usually needs

  1. Wash arm alert from a clogged arm
  2. Low rinse temperature messages on repeated cycles
  3. Fill error or drain error that stops the machine
  4. Temperature probe messages that read open or short
  5. Scale on the booster and rinse arms

The LXe line is Hobart’s current undercounter dishwasher family. The model letters tell you how the machine sanitizes: LXeC and LXePR use a chemical rinse, LXeH uses a hot final rinse from a built-in booster, and LXeR adds energy recovery to that booster. Look for the model on the data plate before you call, because the checks differ.

The touch display names most problems in words, which helps us. Common calls are a wash arm alert, a low rinse temperature message, or a fill or drain error that leaves the machine waiting for power-down. We start with the water side, then the arms and the temperature probes, and we test the booster on the high-temperature models.

Water leaves scale on boosters and rinse arms, so the delime reminder is worth following.

FAQHobart LXe Advansys Undercounter Dishwashers questions
Where do I find the LXe model?

Look at the data plate on the machine. The letters after LXe, such as C, H, PR or R, tell us whether it is chemical or high-temperature, and that decides what we check first.

What do the on-screen messages mean for repairs?

Most messages name the problem, such as a wash arm alert or a fill error. Write down the exact wording and call us. We have pages for each LXe message on this site.

Do you repair LXe booster problems?

Yes. We test the booster, its probe and the rinse temperature on LXeH and LXeR models, and give you a written price before any part is replaced.
