The Century is Insinger’s flight-type washer for trays and dishes, made as the Century 14, 17, 19 and +21. The single and double tank versions use 248 gallons an hour, and the triple tank uses 197. The model number is printed on the data plate.
When a Century slows or stops, we check the belt drive and the limit switches first, then the tank heat and the final rinse. Scale from water collects on the nozzles and heating parts, and strainers clog with food. We also look at the doors and any switches that stop the machine on their own.
