The Steam-Tech Plus is an older Market Forge steam cooker offered as the STP-6E electric and the STP-6G gas. The model is on the data plate.
When one stops making steam, we look at the water supply and fill, the generator, and the heat source. On the gas model we also check ignition and the burner, and gas in the air means going outdoors and phoning the gas company. The door gasket and drain get a look too, because lost steam wastes heat.

My gas STP-6G will not heat. What do I do?
With gas in the air, evacuate and phone the gas company from outdoors. If not, switch the steamer off and call us, and we test ignition and the gas supply to the burner.
