The Matchbox is a current Ovention ventless, closed-cooking impingement oven with two touchscreens and a slider. The M1313 runs on 208/240 V and plugs into a NEMA 6-30P outlet. The M1718 runs on 208 V and is hard-wired. Models also appear with a CSA suffix.
These ovens do not print a numbered error list. The common calls are a CHECK FANS light, a tripped high-limit switch, a slider that moves unevenly, a blank touchscreen and food that does not cook properly. Owners clean the air filters monthly and keep the oven between 70 F and 100 F. We test the fans, the limit and the relay board.

What does CHECK FANS mean on a Matchbox?
It warns that the oven is hot or not getting enough air. Clean the filters and cool the room. If the light stays on, a cooling fan needs a look.
Why is my Matchbox slider uneven?
The manual lists loose screws, a loose bracket, a gear problem or wrong software as the causes. We work through those in order and report what we find before replacing anything.
Why is the ambient limit 100 F?
Above 100 F the oven can be damaged, and the manual says the warranty does not cover it. Kitchens get warm, so ventilation matters.
