Repairs this series usually needs
- Pilot out or will not stay lit
- Burner not lighting evenly
- Gas valve or control problems
- Heat uneven across the broiler
Wolf’s stockpot range and salamander broilers are gas-fired pieces that sit beside the main range line. Model numbers include WSPR1, C36IRB and C36RB. A stockpot range holds large pots over high heat, and a salamander broiler browns and finishes dishes from above.
The service work is mostly on the gas side: pilots, burners, valves and the flame. For a broiler that heats unevenly, we look at the burners and the air supply. If a pilot will not stay lit, we check the thermocouple and the safety valve. If gas is in the air, do not touch switches. Walk out and call the gas utility.
Older units are covered as well. The price is written before work, and a repair that would not pay off gets an honest verdict.

Which models fall in this group?
The WSPR1 stockpot range, plus the C36IRB and C36RB salamander broilers. Tell us the model on the plate and we confirm the parts. We confirm which one you have before we come.
Why will my broiler not light?
A pilot that is out, dirty burner ports or a gas supply problem are the usual reasons. We test each in order. We also check the gas valve.
Do you repair older stockpot ranges?
Yes. Older units are withpart of our work. We quote in writing, and if replacing is the better choice, we explain why. We write the price down before any work begins.
