Kold-Draft Ice Machine Error Code 60: Fill Cycle Too Long
Code 60 means the water fill took too long. Check that the water supply is on, the external filter is not plugged and there are no leaks, then reset the controller. The time limit depends on the board revision.

What does Kold-Draft error code 60 mean?
Before each freeze the machine fills its water tank, and the water level probe assembly tells the controller when the level is reached. If the fill takes too long, the control closes the valve and posts Code 60: 60 (fill cycle too long, LED 60). On Rev 1.1 and 1.2 the limit is 5 minutes. On Rev 1.3 and higher, a fill over 3 minutes closes the valve, waits 10 minutes with LED 60 flashing, retries, and goes solid after three failed tries. The manual lists five causes: the water supply is off or a major leak is draining the tank, the external water filter is plugged, the water solenoid valve is inoperative, an upper (short) or common probe wire is loose, or the controller is bad. Most of these are about water arriving or the level being sensed. Check supply and filter before any parts.
