- CADET
Repairs this series usually needs
- Rinse not reaching 180F
- Lime scale in the booster
- Pumped or gravity drain problems
- Chemical pump not priming
- Door switch or start problems
The CADET is Insinger’s high-temperature undercounter dishwasher. It offers three cycles, one each for dishes, cookware and glassware, and it makes its own hot final rinse with a built-in atmospheric booster. The maker says water entering at 70F or warmer gives a 180F rinse, so the incoming supply matters. The data plate reads CADET.
When a CADET rinses cool, we start with the hot water supplied to the machine, then the booster and its temperature sensing. Lime scale in the booster is common in water, and the quick delime cycle in the owner’s manual helps. We also check the chemical pumps, the drain and the door switch, since a cycle will not start with the door open.
Tell us what the machine did and which cycle you were using. The cost is given before work.

What water temperature does a CADET need?
The maker says water entering at 70F or warmer gives a 180F final rinse. If your supply is cooler than that, the booster works harder than it was built to, and we check the supply first.
Why does my CADET leave glasses spotted?
Hard water, scale in the booster or a weak rinse can all spot glasses. We check the water, the booster and the chemical dosing on a visit, then give you a written price.
Can an older CADET still be repaired?
Yes. We repair CADET undercounters in restaurants and bars, and we speak up if one is not worth fixing. Every repair has its labor covered for 30 days.
