The E-Max brewers, such as the 2030 E-Max T, are Bloomfield’s microprocessor line. When something goes wrong, the display shows the name of the problem along with Call For Service. The messages are specific: Probe/Heater Error, Overheat Error, No Water Sensed, Keyswitch Locked and “VALVE FAULT”.
Most of them can be cleared by holding CANCEL for 3 seconds or by cycling power, except “VALVE FAULT”, which CANCEL will not clear. A message that returns after clearing means the cause is still there.
We test the heater, probe, valves and keypad against the message, and we tell you plainly when an older E-Max is not worth a larger repair. Write down the exact message on the display before you clear it, since it shortens the diagnosis.

What does Call For Service mean on my E-Max?

Most clear with CANCEL held for 3 seconds or a power cycle. The "VALVE FAULT" message does not clear with CANCEL, so call us to schedule service for it.
