The Schaerer Coffee Soul line covers the Soul, the Soul C and the Soul C 2step. Look for the name Soul on the front or the data plate. The owner’s manual describes a center grinder, with a right grinder on some variants, as well as the Flavour Point and powder containers.
Messages on a Soul name the part, such as the grounds container, a grinder, the hot water or steam boiler, a temperature sensor or the brewing unit. We begin with what you can see from outside, the grounds container, the beans and the water supply, and then test the heating and sensor circuits and the brewing unit motor. The manual warns that the grinder and the brewing unit can crush, so staff keep their hands out of both.

How do I know which Soul I have?
The name is on the front of the machine and on the data plate. The line includes the Soul, the Soul C and the Soul C 2step. Tell us the name and what the display shows, and we confirm the rest.
Why must staff avoid the grinder and brewing unit?
The owner's manual warns of crushing from the grinder and the brewing unit. Switch the machine off and call rather than reaching in. We free jams safely.
Do you repair older Soul machines?
