Schaerer Models We Repair
Schaerer machines are super-automatic coffee machines that we repair in offices, hotels, restaurants and shops. The Coffee Art Plus Touch has twin grinders and a touch display. The Coffee Soul line includes the Soul, Soul C and Soul C 2step. Older Coffee Art, Coffee Club, Solido and Coffee Prime machines still work in many places, and we repair them too.
These machines name the problem on the display, so we start there. Grinder left or right no beans means a hopper is empty, but Grinder blocked means a bean or a small stone has jammed the grinder and drinks from that grinder are not made. If a grinder is overloaded, the machine retries the grinding and then stops. A Water flow error covers a closed water tap, low pump pressure, or a brewer or grind problem. Over current brew motor means the brewing unit is drawing too much current or is jammed.
Heaters, Sensors and Grounds
Timeout messages for the coffee, hot water or steam heater appear when the set temperature is not reached within about four to five minutes. Then we test the heater, the relay and the sensor. Sensor defect and critical temperature messages point to the sensor or the wiring between it and the board. For a steam boiler over its limit, we check the solid state relay, the excess-temperature switch and the water supply.
The grounds container message appears when it is missing or full, and the Soul manual asks that the milk container and its cover be cleaned before each filling. We bring parts for the model on your data plate, tell you plainly when an older machine is not worth the repair, give you a written price first, and back our work with a 30-day warranty.

What does Grinder blocked mean on my Schaerer?
A bean or an object, such as a small stone, is jammed in the grinder. Do not force it. We open the grinder safely, clear it and test the motor.
Why does my Schaerer show Water flow error?
The water tap may be closed, the pump pressure may be low, or the brewer or grind may be restricting flow. Check the tap, then call us and we test the pump and brewing unit.
Do you repair older Schaerer models like the Solido?
Yes. We service the Coffee Art, Coffee Club, Solido and Prime along with the current Coffee Art Plus Touch and Coffee Soul. We tell you plainly if a repair is not worth the cost.
