Moyer Diebel Models We Repair
Bars, restaurants and event venues use Moyer Diebel glasswashers, and we repair current and older ones. The DFM7.5 is a rotary-type conveyor glasswasher in which the glass carrier turns clockwise through the cycle. The DF, DF1-M6 and DF2-M6 are older rotary glasswashers, and the MD18-1, MD18-2 and MD181 are older automatic glasswashers that still work in many bars. The undercounters include the 201HT, 383HT M2 and 401LT, which are often used for glassware. The 383HT M2 has a 4 kW built-in booster.
Our First Steps
The manuals we use for these glasswashers list no numbered error codes, so we diagnose by testing. Cloudy glassware is the call we hear most, and it usually comes from water hardness, the rinse aid or lime scale. We check the delime routine and the chemical feed first. When a rotary conveyor does not turn, we look at the drive and its motor. A rinse that is not hot enough takes us to the booster, the thermostat and the element.
A bar keeps its machine wet and busy, and humidity wears on switches, wiring and seals, especially near the coast. We confirm the model before the visit so the right parts come with us. For older DF and MD18 machines we say plainly when a repair no longer pays. Expect the price in writing before any work, plus a 30-day warranty.
