Common Robot Coupe problems we fix
In plain words, the way kitchen and laundry staff describe them when they call.
Machine will not start
Breaker trips when overloaded
Ragged or poor cuts
Bowl seal leaks at the base
Motor hums but does not turn
Variable speed will not change
Robot Coupe Models We Service
Robot Coupe’s combination processors put a cutter bowl and a continuous-feed vegetable attachment on one base. The line includes the R 101, R 2 N, R 301, R 401, R 402, R 502 and R 702, and the V.V. models have variable speed. The cutter-mixers, from the R 2 B to the R 60 T, are bowl cutters, and the Blixer models are cutter-blenders. The CL 40, CL 50, CL 52, CL 55 and CL 60 are continuous-feed vegetable preparation machines, and the MP and CMP series are immersion blenders.
First Checks
A machine that will not start even though it is installed correctly often has a lid or pusher that is not locked, or an interlock or magnet that does not make contact. Models with a manual-reset breaker trip it when the machine is overloaded or used too long. A hum with no rotation sends us to the start capacitor or the belt, and a variable-speed model that will not change speed needs the speed control checked.
Poor cut quality is usually a dull or wrong disc, and a leaking bowl seal or blade shaft seal is a wear problem made worse by daily washdowns. Robot Coupe machines have no display codes. Older R and CL models are still in many kitchens, and we say plainly when a repair is not worth it. You get a written price first and a 30-day warranty.

The lid or pusher is probably not locked, or the safety interlock is not making contact. We check the interlock and magnet first, then the breaker and the start circuit.
My Robot Coupe breaker keeps tripping. What does that mean?
The machine is being overloaded or used too long on a heavy load. We check the load, the motor and the breaker, and tell you the written price before replacing a part.
Do you repair Robot Coupe Blixer and immersion blenders?
Yes. We service the Blixer cutter-blenders and the MP and CMP immersion blenders, along with the processors. We line up the parts for your model and give you the price in writing before starting.
