Common MEIKO conveyor dish machines problems
In plain words, the way kitchen and laundry staff describe them when they call.
Conveyor jams or the rack stops
Tank temperature stays low
Detergent or rinse aid empty
Foam in the wash tank
Final rinse too cool
The KA series covers single-tank and multi-tank rack conveyors in the KA 44, 54, 64, 66, 76, 80, 86, 90 and 100 sizes, with optional heat recovery and a blower dryer. A multi-tank machine moves up to 355 racks an hour, and the KA 80 is ENERGY STAR listed. The older K-Tronic range includes the K-200 and K-400 with PW and LPW variants, and the K-86E, K-86S, K-86ET and K-86ST with an electric or steam coil.
A conveyor is a long machine with many working parts, so we sort problems by area. A rack that stops points us to the drive and its limit switches, a cool tank to the heater or steam coil and the level control, and weak cleaning to the dosing pumps, nozzles and detergent supply. Foam in the wash tank causes malfunctions and poor results, so the detergent type and amount are checked early. Humidity and scale hit the heaters and rinse nozzles over time.
Many K-Tronic machines are still working, and we repair them when a repair makes sense and say so when it does not.

Do you repair older MEIKO K-Tronic conveyors?
Yes. We repair K-200, K-400, K-86E and K-86S machines, along with the current KA series. If an older conveyor is not worth repairing, we tell you plainly and give the price in writing first.
Why does my MEIKO conveyor stop?
A jammed rack, a problem in the drive or a limit switch that has tripped are the usual causes. Turn the machine off before you clear anything. If it stops again, call us and we test the drive and the switches.
Why is my MEIKO wash tank foaming?
Foam in the wash tank causes malfunctions and poor wash results. Check that the right detergent is used in the right amount, and call us if the foam keeps coming back.
