MEIKO Models We Repair
MEIKO machines work hard in commercial kitchens, and we repair current and older ones. The undercounters include the M-iClean US, UM, UM+ and UL and the UPster U 400 and U 400 T. We also service the hood-type M-iClean H and HM, the KA rack conveyors from the KA 44 to the KA 100, and older K-Tronic K-200, K-400 and K-86 machines. Pot and pan work covers the K-200 PW and K-400 PW variants.
The M-iClean U uses gray messages that you acknowledge and red messages that need a service technician, such as 8 and 9 for door switch signals that do not match. The UPster U 400 uses INFO and ERR numbers, for example ERR 205 for unequal door contact signals and ERR 304 when the tank never reaches temperature. Foam in the wash tank ruins results on these machines, so the detergent type and amount go on our checklist.
Owner Steps and Technician Steps
Many messages have a no-cost step you can do yourself: close the door, clean the drain sieve, seat the fine and coarse sieve, free the wash arms or open the water supply. When those do not clear the message, we test the door switches, level sensors, heating and drain pump, and read the error memory with the maker’s service tool. Scale and humid air, a given in Miami and Houston, are hard on sensors and heaters.
On older K-Tronic machines we say plainly when a repair is no longer worth it. The price is in writing before work begins, and our work carries a 30-day warranty.
MEIKO codes and alarms

MEIKO lines and model numbers we service
Current and older lines. Find the number on the data plate and open its series for the usual repairs.
What do the gray and red messages on my MEIKO M-iClean mean?
Gray messages ask you to do something, such as close the door or refill rinse aid, and you acknowledge them. Red messages need a service technician. Tell us the number on the display and we plan the visit around it.
What does ERR 205 mean on a MEIKO UPster U 400?
The signals from the two door contact switches do not match, so the machine cannot continue. Make sure the door closes fully, then call us. We test the door switches and the board.
Do you repair older MEIKO K-Tronic machines?
Yes. We repair K-200, K-400 and K-86 machines as well as the current KA conveyors. If a repair is not worth the cost on an older unit, we tell you before we start.
Why does my MEIKO say drainage level not reached?
On the M-iClean U that is message 101, and a clogged drain sieve is the first thing to check. Clean the sieve and start again. If the message returns, call us and we test the drain pump and level sensor.
