Jackson Dishwasher Error Code F11: Wash Tank Probe
F11 on a Jackson DishStar HT-E means the wash tank temperature probe has failed. The manual's single action is to replace the probe that connects to P10. There is nothing for the operator to adjust.
High: without a working wash probe the control cannot manage wash temperature.

What does Jackson error code F11 mean?
Of the F codes on this machine, F11 is among the plainest. The wash tank temperature probe, T1, is the sensor the control uses to read wash water temperature. When the control decides that sensor has failed, it shows "F11 Service needed - check wash tank thermostat". The manual lists one cause, a failed temperature probe (T1), and one action, to replace the probe that connects to P10. P10 is the connector on the IO module where the probe plugs in, so the instruction tells the technician which probe to swap. Unlike F7 and F10, which both involve T1 as one of several possible causes, F11 names T1 alone, with no contactor, IO module or heater in the list. That does not mean those parts are never involved in a real repair, but the manual's table treats this code as a probe replacement and gives no further steps. It does not give a resistance value for F11, so we do not quote one.

What you may notice
- Display reads F11 Service needed - check wash tank thermostat
- Wash temperature display missing or wrong
- Machine will not complete a normal wash cycle
Possible causes
Listed in Jackson's documentation
- Wash tank temperature probe (T1) failed
Other likely causes — what usually sits behind error code F11 on this control. A technician confirms which one it is before any part is replaced.
- A probe whose tip has been damaged by an object in the tank
- A probe lead pinched where it exits the tank
- Probe wiring loosened at P10 by vibration
Safe checks before calling for service
- Turn the machine off and on once to see whether F11 returns.
- Do not pull on the probe wire or open any panel.
- Check that the tank temperature shown, if any, is not clearly wrong.
- Pass on the exact screen text to the technician.
How a technician diagnoses error code F11
- Confirm F11 and that the probe connects to P10.
- Inspect the probe lead and plug at P10 for damage or a loose terminal.
- Measure probe resistance against the table in the manual.
- Replace the probe that connects to P10, as the manual directs.
- Run a heat-up and check that the temperature reading follows the tank.
- The probe plug is on the IO module, which sits in the control area with power present.
- The tank must be drained or isolated to replace the probe without leaks.
- The probe needs a resistance check against the manual's table to prove it is the failed part.
How error code F11 differs from similar codes
F11 is the wash probe itself; F12 is the booster probe. F7 and F10 also mention T1 but as one among several causes.

Related Jackson dish machine error codes
Is F11 related to F7?
Both mention the wash probe, but F7 means the heater is staying on, and F11 names the probe alone.
Can I run the machine with F11?
The control cannot read the wash temperature reliably, so we advise a repair first.
Is the probe an expensive part?
The manual does not give prices. It simply says to replace the probe that connects to P10.
