On the Henny Penny Evolution Elite EEE-141 to 144 electric fryers, the troubleshooting guide lists E-10 with three conditions: the vat is under-filled, there is an open circuit, or the high limit circuit is open. An under-filled vat leaves the elements out of the oil and can trip the high limit. An open circuit or breaker problem can read the same way. The manual's actions are to fill the vat to the oil level line, check the breakers and the circuit, and reset the high limit by gently pushing a small screwdriver or Allen wrench into the hole in the heating element hinge. If the limit will not reset, it is replaced.
