What does TurboChef F4: Door Monitor Defective mean?
The cook door has several switches so that microwaves cannot run while the door is open: a primary switch, a secondary switch and a monitor switch. The control expects them to change state in a set order as the door opens and closes. When the monitor switch is out of sequence with the primary or the secondary switch, the control shows F4 (DOOR MONITOR or F4 MONITOR on the C3) and blocks microwave cooking, because it cannot be sure the door safety chain is working. The manual lists one cause, oven door switches out of order, and gives no operator step. This is a safety circuit. A switch that is out of sequence may be worn, misaligned, or stuck, and the door and its hardware have to be checked by a technician.

No. The switches are safety interlocks and must not be bypassed.
Why does a door problem stop microwave cooking only?
The monitor switch protects the microwave circuit, so the control blocks microwave cooking.
