Stero Dishwasher Error Code LOW RINSE TEMP / Check Water Input

LOW RINSE TEMP / Check Water Input on a Stero dishwasher means the rinse temperature has been low for 10 consecutive cycles. The machine continues to run cycles. Check the incoming water supply and temperature, and call us if it persists.

Medium · inspection needed

Medium: the machine keeps running, but 10 low cycles in a row point to a supply or heating problem.

What does Stero LOW RINSE TEMP / Check Water Input mean?

This is the second stage of the low rinse warning. After repeated low rinse temperatures, the display first shows LOW RINSE TEMP. If the low temperature occurs for 10 consecutive cycles, the message changes to add Check Water Input. The machine still continues to run cycles. The added words tell the operator to look at the incoming water, since 10 cycles in a row suggests the supply and not a single bad rack. The manual's action is to check the incoming water supply and temperature, and to contact service if it persists. In practice that means looking at the hot water valve, the water heater and the supply line, and on the SU-H, the booster heater. The message is a prompt, not a lockout, but 10 low cycles means 10 racks of dishes may not have been rinsed as hot as intended.
