Stero Lines We Repair
Stero builds dish machines in several lines, and we repair current and older ones. The SUn-H and SUn-L undercounters are the current models, with Rinse Assurance for a 180 degree F final rinse and a delime notification. The older SU-H and SU-L undercounters and the SG glasswashers are still in service in many bars. In door-type machines we see the SD1 chemical-sanitizing machine and the SD3 and SD3T. Conveyors include the SCT-44, SCT-64, SCT-66S and SCT-94 and the ER-44, plus modular and flight-type machines.
The SU and SG machines print plain-language messages. LOW RINSE TEMP appears on the third low-temperature cycle in a row, and the machine keeps cycling. FILL ERROR, DRAIN ERROR and the sump or booster level sensor messages stop the machine so it can only be powered down. Messages with OPEN or SHORT point to a temperature probe or pressure switch.
Our Order of Checks
A high-temperature SU-H needs at least 110 degrees F incoming water, and the SD1 wants 140. We confirm the hot water supply first, then move to probes, level switches, fill valve, drain and heater. Scale in a booster or tank is common wherever the water is hard, and an SD1 may also need its chemical pumps primed.
On older Stero machines we are plain about whether a repair is worth it. The written price comes before the work, and a 30-day warranty follows the repair.

The final rinse was too cool on three cycles in a row, and the machine keeps cycling. After ten in a row the message adds Check Water Input. Make sure hot water reaches the machine, then call us.
Why does my Stero stop with FILL ERROR or DRAIN ERROR?
The machine timed out while filling, or the water level would not come up, so it only lets you power down. Check that the water supply is open. If it repeats, call us and we test the fill valve, drain and level switch.
Do you repair older Stero SU, SG and SCT machines?
Yes. We service SU-L, SU-H, SG glasswashers and SCT conveyors along with the current SUn and SD3 lines. If a repair is not worth it on an older machine, we tell you plainly.
