What does Alto-Shaam error code E100 mean?
Combi ovens remind the operator when routine care is due, such as cleaning a filter or descaling. Each reminder has a time limit. When that limit runs out and no one has marked the item done, the control posts E100 One or more maintenance reminder has timed out. This is not a malfunction. Nothing has failed; the oven is telling you a task is overdue. The manual's remedy is straightforward: open the maintenance reminder screen, do the item that timed out and reset it. The reminders themselves carry numbers 1001 to 1005, which the manual lists separately, so the screen will show which one is overdue. If you reset the reminder without doing the work, the message goes away, but the reason for the reminder remains, so it is best to complete the task first. A service call is only needed if the reminder keeps returning after the work is done.
Affected models and control systems
CT PROformance and CT Classic ovens in all six sizes, 6-10 to 20-20, electric and gas. The individual reminders carry the numbers 1001 to 1005.
