The steam boiler is filled automatically. The CPU opens the fill and waits for the level probe to report a full boiler, and it allows a set period for that, held in the parameter named Level Timeout. If no full signal arrives in that time, the CPU stops the fill and shows Steam Boiler Autofill Failed. The manual states that the CPU also shuts down and cuts power to the machine, and that the error is reset by pressing the ON/OFF button. The reason matters: heating a steam boiler that is not full can burn out the element. Common reasons are a closed water supply, an empty feed or a blocked fill path, a fill valve or pump that does not deliver, or a level probe that does not report.
