Merrychef High-Speed Oven Error Code E093: Recommission Magnetron
E093 is a recommission test result, reported as E101: Magnetron Failed. During the test the current draw on one or both magnetrons was under 5 A. The manual sends you to E101, which uses visual view to test one magnetron at a time.

What does Merrychef error code E093 mean?
The recommission test asks the oven to run its microwave power and measures the current each magnetron draws. If either one draws under 5 A, the oven writes E093, shown as E093 (reported as E101: Magnetron Failed). The manual treats it as the same problem as E101 and points there. The E101 method is to use visual view and test one magnetron at a time. A reading of 0 A means the trouble is in the primary circuit, the low-voltage side that feeds the transformer. A reading under 5 A means the secondary circuit, which includes the high-voltage transformer, diode, capacitor, magnetron and their connections. The technician also checks mains voltage in the error log, the low-voltage connections, fuse F2 and the door switches, before isolating power and testing high-voltage parts. The sequence narrows the cause before any part is replaced.
