Merrychef High-Speed Oven Error Code E109: SRB PM Failed
E109 means the personality module (PM) code is incorrect for the SRB relay board. The manual says to check that the PM chip on the SRB is correct and to transfer the PM when replacing the SRB.

What does Merrychef error code E109 mean?
Like the touch screen board, the SRB carries a personality module chip that identifies the oven model it controls. At start-up the SRB checks the chip. If the code does not match, the oven records E109: SRB PM FAILED. The SRB switches the heaters, fans and magnetrons, so it matters that it knows which oven it is in. The commonest trigger is a replacement SRB fitted without moving the old board's chip, or with a chip from another model. The manual says to check the PM chip on the SRB is correct and to transfer the PM when replacing the SRB. This also appears in other SRB repairs: the manual repeats the instruction to move the PM chip when the SRB is changed for E112 and E113. E109 should not be mixed up with E083, where the SRB hardware version itself is unsuitable, or with E108, the QTS twin.
