What does XLT Key Short mean?
The LUI is the touch display where you set temperature and bake time. The controller reads each key as an input. If any key looks pressed for more than one minute, it assumes the key is stuck or shorted and shows Key Short. The Alarm LED on the controller flashes and all other LEDs are off. The manual lists no causes, but its action is a simple one that an operator can do: clean the LUI screen. Dirt, grease or moisture across a key can make it read as pressed, and a clean screen often removes the cause. After that comes the hard reset, unplugging the oven for one minute, and then a call to XLT if the error persists.
