Platinum is Anets’ electric fryer, built in 14 and 18 inch widths and often as a dual-vat unit with filtration. The model on the data plate begins with AEP, such as an AEP14T or AEP18R. A computer, a digital control or a solid-state backup runs the heat.
When an AEP will not heat, we start with the drain valve and its sensor switch, then the high limit, which resets only after the oil has cooled. A heat light that is on while the elements stay cold points to the high limit or a contactor. For filter trouble we check the breaker, the thermal overload on the pump and the return valve switch.
