Silver Plus is the efficient gas fryer in the Anets range. Look for 40AV or 70AV on the data plate. The size number tells you the oil class, and the AV tells you it is the Silver Plus.
Our first checks are the ignition, the temperature control and the gas valve. If the oil runs hot or cool, the thermostat or probe is usually the reason. Leaks at the drain valve are worth fixing early.
Humid weather and cooking grease shorten the life of valves and switches, so a fryer in daily use does need a periodic look. Many Silver Plus fryers stay in service for a long time, and a cleaning visit now and then keeps the tubes clear of soot. The model on the data plate is the first thing we ask for.

It marks the Silver Plus line, so a 70AV is a Silver Plus fryer in the 70 class. The data plate gives the full model, which we use to match the right parts.
My 70AV runs too hot. Is that safe?
Switch it off and let the oil cool completely. Do not drain hot oil. Then call us to test the thermostat, the probe and the high limit before anyone cooks again.
