Bally Pre-Engineered Sectional Walk-In Coolers and Freezers
Current and older.
Repairs this series usually needs
- Door gasket worn or door not sealing
- Frost at the door from a failed heater element
- Pressure relief port heater problems
- Door hinge and latch wear
- Evaporator iced up
Bally pre-engineered walk-ins are built in sections. The doors use D-125 spring hinges and a D-100 touch latch, and the hinged-door model numbers follow a width and height pattern, for example 3466 to 3484 for 34 in. Doors. The serial plate is inside the door frame next to the vapor-proof light.
The problems we see on these boxes are the ones a long-lived box would have: worn gaskets, tired hinges, latches that no longer pull the door tight, and heater elements that have failed. Routine maintenance on hinges, gaskets and heaters is where most of our work starts.
Older Bally boxes are part of our work, and we will say so if one has given all it can. You get the price on paper before we begin.

Where is the serial plate on a Bally walk-in?
It is inside the door frame next to the vapor-proof light. Read us the numbers when you call and we match them to the box.
Why is there frost at my Bally door?
A failed door heater element or a worn gasket lets warm air in, and the moisture freezes on the frame. We check the heater first.
Do you repair older Bally boxes?
Yes. Older Bally walk-ins are on our service list. We write the quote first, and if a box is not worth a big repair, we tell you directly.
