Repairs this series usually needs

  1. Final rinse not hot
  2. Pump not running
  3. Water solenoid leaking
  4. Scale on the heating parts
  5. Door switch problems

The 180UC is CMA’s high-temperature undercounter dishwasher, and the 180UC-3 is a related version. Like the other 180 machines, it needs hot incoming water for a final rinse of 180F.

When a 180UC cleans poorly or the rinse is cool, we check the incoming water, the booster thermostat and the high limit, then scale on the heating parts. When the pump will not run, the door switch and the timer switches get tested. A leaking water solenoid points us to scale or a worn diaphragm.

Water is hard, and scale is the most common slow problem on these machines. Cost is quoted before work. These undercounters are common in bars and small restaurants. Tell us the plate model, 180UC or 180UC-3, when you call so parts are confirmed in advance.

FAQCMA-180UC and 180UC-3 High-Temperature Undercounter Dishwashers questions
Where do I find the model?

It is on the data plate on the machine and reads 180UC or 180UC-3. Keep it handy for the call, and parts are confirmed before the visit.

Why is my rinse not hot?

Cool incoming water, a booster thermostat, a tripped high limit or scale on the heating parts can each do it, so we test each in turn and then tell you plainly what we found.

Do you repair undercounters in bars?

Yes. CMA undercounters in restaurants and bars are work we take on, with the cost quoted first and honest advice when a repair does not pay.
