- CMA-180
- CMA-180T
Repairs this series usually needs
- Pump motor not running
- Final rinse below 180F
- Wash tank heater not working
- Low final rinse pressure
- Water solenoid leaking
The CMA-180 is a high-temperature door-type dishwasher with a built-in booster, and the CMA-180T is the tall version. It uses a cam timer and has no electronic display, so there are no error codes to read. Troubleshooting is done from how the machine behaves.
The maker’s table points to the door switch, the delimer switch left off and the timer micro switch when the pump will not run. A weak rinse sends us to the incoming water, which should be 140F, then the booster thermostat, the high limit and scale. We also check the rinse regulator at 18 to 20 PSI.
Scale builds quickly in water. We give you a written price first. The CMA-180 is a plain, sturdy machine, which makes it a good repair candidate. Tell us the plate model, such as CMA-180 or CMA-180T, and whether your booster was filled before it was first powered.

Check the door is closed and the delimer switch is not left off. If it still will not start, the door switch or a timer micro switch needs testing.
What does the CMA-180 need for a good rinse?
The maker calls for 140F incoming water, a 180F final rinse and 18 to 20 PSI at the rinse. If any is short, we find which.
Does the CMA-180 show error codes?
No. It uses a cam timer instead of an electronic display, so there are no codes to read. We diagnose it from how the machine behaves, and we confirm parts by the model on the data plate.
