The ventless CMA machines are door-type dishwashers built to work without an exhaust hood. The data plate may read 181-VL, CMA-180-VL, CMA-180-VL-FL or CMA-180-VL TALL, and the EST Ventless is a related model.
When one rinses poorly, we check the incoming water, the booster, the high limit and scale, as with other CMA door-types. A pump that stops leads us to the door switch and the timer switches. Steam or water escaping at the door sends us to the seal and to the ventless condensing parts.
Water makes scale common. Parts are confirmed by model beforehand, and the cost is quoted first. Tell us the exact name from the plate, such as CMA-180-VL-FL, and we confirm parts before the visit.
