Polar King walk-ins built before January 1, 2009 are older one-piece outside units. Their condensing units are named in the F3A series, and the electrical control panel sits on top of the box, as it does on current boxes. If your box was built before that date, we treat it as one of these older units.
At this age the common jobs are a dirty condenser, a defrost timer that no longer cycles, iced evaporators and worn controls and wiring. We start with the condenser and the defrost, then the electrical parts. The supply voltage at the compressor has to stay in range.
