What does Eversys error code S-006 mean?

The grounds drawer collects used coffee pucks after every brew. The control either counts the pucks or senses how full the drawer is, and it stops coffee drinks before the drawer can overflow into the machine. When that limit is reached, the display shows S-006 and coffee products are unavailable until the drawer is emptied. In nearly every case the answer is to empty it, which sends the machine straight back to work. A few details can keep the message on screen after emptying. If the drawer is not pushed back until it seats, the control may not register the reset. Grounds that pack unevenly can trip the level sensor early, and residue on the rails or the contact area can interfere with the signal. A drawer that is genuinely empty and still reads full points to the sensor rather than to the way the machine is used. The control cannot tell a full drawer from a sensor that thinks it is full, so a technician checks the drawer in place and tests what the sensor reports. The text shown on the display is S-006.
