Every cleaning cycle on a Cameo is supposed to drop a cleaning ball, and a light barrier in the dispenser counts it. The control keeps track of how many cleanings ran without a ball being seen. When that reaches ten, it locks the machine and shows Check cleaning ball dispenser, written on the display as S-015. Coffee products stay unavailable until the dispenser path is proven clear. The lock is the end result of earlier W-006 or W-007 warnings that were not dealt with, so there is usually a history of cleanings that did not count. A ball can be stuck or broken in the dispenser, the dispenser may be empty or not seated, and the light barrier window can be dirty or the sensor weak. Because a dirty window and a failed sensor give the same display, the barrier is cleaned gently first and tested afterward.
