Some Cameo machines are set up to talk to outside equipment such as a payment terminal or an ordering system through a CSI or CCI interface. When the machine is configured that way, it looks for the interface as part of its normal checks, and it will not make drinks without it. If the interface is not detected, the control locks every product and shows S-027, so staff see no drinks at all, not just a missing option.
