Electrolux Washer Extractor Error Code 02: Door Open
Error code 02 means the closed-door input reported the door as open while a wash program was running. Make sure the door is shut and latched, then restart the program. If it keeps appearing with the door closed, a technician should check the door lock, its cable and the lock edge connection.

What does Electrolux Professional error code 02 mean?
While a wash program runs, the CPU board keeps reading the closed-door input. The door must stay closed for the drum to turn and for water and heat to be used safely. If that input says the door has been opened mid-program, the board treats it as a stop condition, halts the cycle and shows ERROR 002 / DOOR OPEN. The manual points at the door lock, the cable running to it and the lock edge connection, which means the message can come from a real open door or from a signal that dropped out because of a worn lock or a loose connection. Staff typically see the machine pause partway through a wash with water still in the drum.
