Electrolux Washer Extractor Error Code 03: Door Lock Fail
Error code 03 means the door lock did not lock within a set time after the program started, or the locked-door switch showed unlocked while a program was running. Close the door fully and start again. If it repeats, a technician should check the lock, its cable and the lock edge connection.

What does Electrolux Professional error code 03 mean?
After the start key is pressed, the CPU board commands the door lock to engage and then waits for the locked-door switch to confirm it. If the confirmation does not arrive within a set time, the board stops the start and shows ERROR 003 / DOOR LOCK FAIL. The same message appears if the switch reports unlocked at any point once the program is running, because a drum should never turn behind a door that is not held. Unlike code 02, which reports the door itself, this one points at the locking mechanism and its feedback. The manual lists a defective lock, a loose lock cable and the lock edge connection as the places to look. Staff see a machine that will not start, or one that halts mid-wash.
